Teens arrested for assaulting officer

Omaha Police arrested three teenagers for assaulting an officer in North Omaha Wedesday night.
 
Police were called to the McDonald's at 30th and Ames around 6:15 p.m. To break up a fight.  As the first officer arrived, the teens involved were walking across Ames Avenue. The officer attempted to stop the teens to question them about the fight, but they ignored his orders to stop. A 15 year old female attempted to get away from the officer, while three others began to punch the officer who suffered minor injuries.
 
The 15 year old female was cited for disorderly conduct and obstructing. A 14 year old male, 17 year old female, and a 16 year old male were all booked for assaulting an officer.
