A 12-year-old Council Bluffs girl was arrested Thursday for making terroristic threats directed at Kirn Middle School on Snapchat, according to a release.
After an investigation, it was discovered the student did not have any weapons but making terroristic threats is a Class D felony in Iowa. She was booked into the Southwest Iowa Juvenile Detention Center.

The girl is a student at the school and was in attendance Thursday morning.
