A train struck a car following a collision in Elkhorn.
The collision happened at the crossing near 192nd and Blondo around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday night..
Witnesses at the scene tell 3 News Now a second car appears to have hit the first car, pushing it onto the tracks which was then struck by the train.
The lone occupant of the car hit by the train was out of the car before the train struck it. Another person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Union Pacific says the rail line was closed for awhile as police investigated.
