The trial for a woman charged in the death of a 4-year-old child is scheduled for this summer.
Chelsey Cook was in court on Monday, according to online court records, where a judge set a date for her jury trial in June.
Cook has pleaded not guilty to a charge of intentional child abuse resulting in death.
Police arrested her after officers found the body of Alicia Morrow in the basement of a home on Jan. 5. Investigators say Morrow died days earlier.
Cook has been held behind bars since her arrest in January. Her bond was set at $1 million.
