OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Troopers arrested a Waterloo man suspected of being under the influence of drugs in the parking lot of the Nebraska State Patrol - Troop A headquarters located near 108th and L.
NSP says the man was checking doors and attempting to gain access to the building around 8 a.m. Thursday.
At one point, the man encountered a state patrol investigator in the lot. Upon realizing who she was, the man headed for his truck.
A uniformed trooper then made contact with him and noted the man may have been using drugs.
Another trooper, a drug recognition expert, performed an evaluation and determined the man was under the influence of drugs.
Troopers arrested David Maslo, 49, on charges of third offense driving under the influence of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
