Council Bluffs Police say two Bellevue men have been arrested for an armed robbery earlier this month.

Kayvon Berry-Smith and Kyntral Watkins face attempted murder, 1st degree robbery and assault charges for the holdup at the Bucky's Express near Madison Avenue and Rue Street on July 1st. Police say the two walked into the store around 12:30 a.m. and one of them robbed the clerk at gunpoint.

The Metro Fugitive Task Force arrested Berry-Smith in Bellevue. Watkins was arrested at the Diagnostic and Evaluation Center in Lincoln where he was being held on an unrelated charge. Both are awaiting extradition to Council Bluffs.
