Bellevue Police arrested two men who are suspected of possessing and distributing child pornography.
25 year old Christopher Bane and 26 year old Jamie Fuentes-Acundo were taken into custody Monday and Tuesday. Their arrests stem from a search warrant that was executed at a Bellevue home in August 2015 where Bane and Fuentes-Acundo were living in the basement. The National Center for Exploited and Missing Children received information of known images of child porn being uploaded from a computer IP address traced to Bellevue. The information was shared with Bellevue Police who obtained the warrant.
The search resulted in the seizure of over 30 electronic devices such as computers, laptops, cellular phones and computer storage devices. After several months of forensic investigation, evidence was obtained that lead to Bane and Fuentes-Acundo's arrests.
