OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) - Two Omaha neighborhoods are finalists for two different top neighborhood awards.
The Benson Plant Rescue is nominated for the Best Neighborhood Program, while the Miller Park-Minne Lusa Neighborhood Association is in the running to win the Neighborhood of the Year Award from Neighborhood USA.
The award for Best Neighborhood Program goes to government or non-profit groups that serve multiple neighborhoods.
Miller Park-Minnes Lusa is also a finalist for Neighborhood USA's Social Revitalization Award for its Trick or Treat on the Boolevard event, which has grown from 200 attendees to 1,800 in the last five years.
