OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — If you have hazardous household waste items and were planning to take them to UnderTheSink, you’ll need to wait or take those items to another site that handles disposal. Until further notice, UnderTheSink is closed.
UnderTheSink said the closure will be short-term but is necessary for “repairs to be made to the ventilation, and safety systems of the building.”
As to when it will reopen, no specific time has been provided. In the meanwhile, people are asked to go to http://www.underthesink.org/index.htm for a list of providers that can handle their needs.
