This week, University of Nebraska-Lincoln students will move back to campus for the 2018-19 college year.
Members of the UNL marching band and some other student programs were able to start moving in Monday. The majority of the student body will move in Thursday and Friday.
Because of the volume of traffic expected around campus, drivers were warned to expect changes to traffic flow on roads through and around campus in addition to some parking changes, including:
- Parking in front of Neihardt Residential Center will be temporarily switched to diagonal parking.
- 17th Street will be closed between R and Vine streets
UNL also warned that construction near 17th and Vine could lead to more congestion than normal.
