OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — KMTV 3 News Now has partnered with the Alzheimer's Association for a number of fundraising and advocacy efforts.
During our 6 p.m. newscast, you will see interviews highlighting some of the important topics impacting the association.
Today, Anchor Jennifer Griswold sat down with Clayton Freeman, program director for the Alzheimer's Association and Dr. Jane Potter, professor in the UNMC Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Geriatrics, Gerontology and Palliative Medicine. They discussed a $3.7 million grant that UNMC recently received. They money will go toward providing resources to primary care professionals so they can better address the health issues of older adults.
