OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — From Ozo Bots to bioinformatics, eighth and ninth-grade students and their mentoring teachers will learn all about information technology as they participate in the spring 2019 CodeCrush Immersion Experience today through Friday.

Hosted by the UNO College of Information Science & Technology, CodeCrush inspires young women and their teachers to take a deeper look at IT through hands-on experiences in emerging fields.

The group will participate in hands-on workshops and visit large local employers to see how different organizations work with technology and what careers in IT truly look like.
