With the number of business students climbing at UNO, the university wants to be ready, which is why it plans to ask the Board of Regents for to approve $17 million to expand Mammel Hall.
The facility is supposed to be at capacity by 2022 and the College of Business Administration numbers are expected to climb 14 percent over the next decade.
The 123,000 square foot building was built eight years ago and the proposed expansion would add an additional 43,000 square feet. The plan includes a new multipurpose room, faculty offices, classrooms and research labs.
