The FEI World Cup Finals are in Omaha this weekend and people are piling into the CenturyLink Center to watch the athletes compete.
Along with the competition the exhibit hall is open to the public, with over 100 venders and activates to participate in.
There are clothes, boots, saddles, helmets, and some exotic items too.
“We sell kangaroo leather hats, buffalo leather hats, we sell a beeswax bases product which was invested in Australia,” said Michael Rodgers with Outback Survial Gear, from New York.
“I figured all these horse people would want to find something to ride in for trials and endurance,” added Julie Hatetine who sells German made saddles.
Hateine traveled from Wisconsin, “I drove a little way to get here, but it has really been worth it.”
But there are plenty of things for the kids to do too and a good place to check out is the Gallery of Breeds.
“I really love this place and I want to come again soon,” said eight-year-old Gracie Hittle who got to meet Maximus, the newest member of the Omaha Police mounted patrol.
“I am going to be a mounted police officer,” said Hittle.
Kids can also experience a taste of the 1800’s with a blacksmith demonstration.
“I am here for the kids, most of these young kids have never seen something like this,” said Tom McDowell.
The event hall is open all weekend along with the competition events.
Saturday is a packed day starting with a dressage clinic at 9am.
