Officers with the Omaha Police Department took 50 children from the Open Door Mission on a shopping spree to buy gifts as part of the annual Shop with a Cop event.
The children got to ride in a patrol car and shop with an officer to pick out gifts for themselves and their families.
After the shopping trip, the Omaha Police Officers’ Association hosted a dinner and party with Santa Claus.
