WAHOO, Neb. (KMTV) — Investigators have arrested 41-year-old William Sloup of Wahoo on ten charges of distribution of child pornography.
The Nebraska State Patrol Technical Crimes Division worked with the Wahoo Police Dept. and Saunders County Sheriff's Office to make the arrest.
Sloup was arrested without incident on Tuesday afternoon in Lincoln, according to the Nebraska State Patrol.
A tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children led to an investigation into Sloup.
Investigators found multiple sexually explicit images involving children on Sloup's phone.
Sloup was lodged in Saunders County Jail on 10 charges of distribution of visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct, each a Class 1D Felony.
The investigation is ongoing.
