FLU SEASON IS HERE AND SO FAR IT IS HITTING NEBRASKA HARD. — Flu season is here and so far it is hitting Nebraska hard.

Thousands of people across the state have already had the flu this season and that number keeps growing. According to the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services latest flu update, there have been nearly 400 new cases in the past few weeks. Beginning Monday, Nebraska Medicine will be offering walk-in flu clinics. You do not need an appointment to be seen at any of the designated flu clinics.

“As part of our commitment to caring for our community, we want to offer this service to our patients so they can be seen quickly if they’re concerned they may have the flu,” said Ann Blanchard, director, Primary Care and Immediate Care Clinics.
