OMAHA, NE — The Omaha Walk to End Alzheimer's has been canceled due to bad weather. The major event was scheduled to start at 11 am Sunday in Stinson Park.
Organizers sent out an email saying that high winds and rain were blowing down tents, and they were forced to make the decision to call off the walk.
The event will not be rescheduled, but organizers say participants will be contacted about next steps.
