OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Walkin' in La Vista Wonderland is an outdoor community-style event, perfect for families and those looking to get outdoor and enjoy some Christmas merriment.
Along with the Sarpy-Cass health department, organizers created a safe, socially-distanced event to bring the holiday spirit to the La Vista community. The event takes place at Civic Center Park where attendees can take socially distanced photos with Santa.
Many who attended on Monday said they enjoyed getting outdoors and getting in some exercise. There is also an outdoor lights display and a replica of Santa’s sleigh for family photos.
In between photo shoots, the sleigh is cleaned to help keep everyone safe. Masks are required.
The event will take place again Dec. 18.
