OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) - It was pick up day Tuesday at Godfather’s Pizza around the Omaha metro area for Jennifer Zeppelin's Warmth for Winter coat drive.

Heartland Hope Mission is hoping to raise 3,000 coats and they think they've met their goal.

On Tuesday night, people in need will be able to pick up a warm winter coat from Heartland Hope Mission.

They say they're seeing a lot of families with kids who have already outgrown their winter coats and need help getting a new one.

“Anyone that is in need of a coat can come during our normal pantry hours and they'll be able to get a coat,” said Chelsea Salifou, CEO of Heartland Hope Mission.

It’s not too late to donate coats. You can bring donations directly to Heartland Hope Mission in Millard or South Omaha during their normal pantry hours.
