OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Omaha's Public Works Department wants to remind people that there will be no collection of garbage, yard waste and recyclable materials on Thursday, due to Thanksgiving. Collections, normally occurring on Monday through Wednesday will not be impacted, but Collections which normally take place on Thursday and Friday will occur one day later.
