Starting Monday morning, Waste Management won't separate your trash from yard waste if you live West of I-680, according to our partners at the Omaha World-Herald.
The company had just started separate collection East of 72nd Street last month. It had planned to move to move further West, but could not because of a driver shortage.
Waste Management's contract with the city says they are supposed to collect trash and yard waste separately for about 35 weeks through Thanksgiving.
According to a statement from the Mayor's office, once Waste Management gets six more drivers everything West of I-680 will also be separate.
