A Weeping Water man is dead after a crash involving an all-terrain vehicle Sunday.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says Kurtis Bauers, 53, died from injuries suffered in a crash while riding a Honda FourTrax 300 all-terrain vehicle.
The crash happened around 9 a.m. on 156th Street, just north of Adams Street, near Weeping Water, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators say Bauers was not wearing a helmet when it is believed the ATV rolled at least twice before landing in a ditch on the east side of the road.
Bauers was taken to a hospital in Lincoln where he later died.
