The Westside school district will soon need to find a new Superintendent of Schools.
Current Superintendent Blaine McCann announced today that he will retire at the end of the 2018-19 school year.
McCann has led District 66 for the last six years. He announced his retirement a year ahead of time to give the school board more time to find his replacement.
Back in February, McCann was a finalist for the Superintendent's job in Shawnee Mission, Kansas.
