With more and more people flooding the Midtown and Blackstone there is a growing concern about area side streets.
"Cars go flying by," Blackstone resident Fatima Alliyani said. "So I think visibility is really important."
Alliyani said her and her fiancee have heard countless crashes at the intersection at 38th and Harney during the evening commute. She adds police have told her and other neighbors that the intersection is "really bad."
The City of Omaha has not returned a request for comment on the safety of the streets in the area.
