OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Halloween is Saturday and like nearly everything else in 2020, it will be a bit different. But some things remain the same, pumpkins are still in high demand.
After this weekend, many of us will be asking what can we do with our old pumpkins.
You can reuse, recycle and repurpose those pumpkins...and there's a lot more you can do them other than making pumpkin pie.
According to Forbes, annual sales of pumpkin-flavored products are well over $500 million.
There are so many different things you can do and make with pumpkins. Making pumpkin seeds is an easy one. You can donate them to a local community garden for compost or even cut one in half and make a bird feeder for your backyard.
Cooking with pumpkins is of course a favorite. Instead of buying pumpkin-flavored goodies, you can make your own.
