OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) - With temperatures continuing to dip, a non-profit wants to make sure every child stays warm during the fast-approaching winter season.
The Hope Center for Kids is hosting its annual Winter Wellness Drive at its location, 2200 N. 20th Street.
Jason McGee, director of philanthropy, told 3 News Now Tuesday that the drive is collecting coats, gloves, hats, scarves – even hygiene products like lotion and lip balm.
The drive ends Thursday, Nov. 16 which also is the same day the center will distribute the items to families in need.
