LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) — The Lincoln Police Department (LPD) responded to a call from a 20-year-old woman who said she was depantsed while walking her puppy near 16th and G Streets.

The woman says a man walked up behind her and pulled her leggings down, and then reached for her dog. When reaching for the puppy, she said the dog bit him and and the suspect ran off.

The woman told police that she believes the incident was an attempt to distract her so the suspect could steal the puppy.

The suspect is described as "appearing to be a homeless white male in his 30s, 5’09”, medium build, with long dark hair and no facial hair."
