Bellevue firefighters responded to a house fire at 29th Avenue and Jefferson Street around 2:20 p.m. this afternoon.
Bellevue Police confirm one woman has died.

Firefighters have started to clear the scene but the investigation is ongoing.
Neighbors say heavy smoke was coming out of the home when firefighters arrived. Three departments, Bellevue Fire, Papillion Fire and Offutt Air Force Fire, responded to the scene.
