Council Bluffs police responded to 31st and Avenue A for a woman who had been shot around 6:30 p.m. tonight.
They arrived and found the woman inside a truck parked in front of a home. She had a single gunshot wound to the chest. She was transported to a local hospital.
Police say they have no suspects and there is no risk to the public.
No information will be released from the incident at 31 / Ave A tonight. No suspects or danger to public.
