OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — This holiday weekend, the WoodmenLife Tower will be lit up to show veterans that their sacrifice is not forgotten.
Tonight the tower will be lit purple to honor those taking part in today's honor flight. A parade will also be held to welcome them back. We'll have more coverage on the flight and their return tonight.
On Memorial Day, the tower will be red white and blue to honor those who died while serving in the military.
