OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Crews will begin road work on Platteview Road starting next week. Sarpy County Public Works sent out a press release giving more details about the work:
"On September 30th, crews will begin a mill-and-overlay project on Platteview Road from 120th Street to 6th Street in Springfield. The work will continue for approximately three weeks, depending on weather.
During the project, crews will be milling off 1 inch of the top layer of the road surface, repairing the road base and applying a new 3-inch layer of asphalt.
Platteview Road will be open to traffic during the construction process, but portions of the road will be limited to a single lane. Pilot cars will lead traffic through the restricted areas.
Drivers should expect delays and use caution through the area. We are asking drivers to use an alternate route if possible."
