MILWAUKEE -- An attempted robbery was thwarted after the would-be victim, who holds a concealed carry permit, shot the suspect in the butt.
It happened Thursday around 7:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the Citgo gas station near 35th and Silver Spring. Police say the suspect tried to rob a man, and that's when he was shot.
The suspect was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay.
