OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Douglas County Health Department said on Friday that two new positive cases of the coronavirus have been confirmed in the county.
The latest individuals to become ill are a man in his 50s and a woman in her 60s. Both of them traveled recently, county officials said.
“The positive news is that our latest cases also are travel related,” stated Health Director Dr. Adi Pour. “We continue our extraordinary efforts to prevent community spread.”
People are encouraged to practice social distancing and good hygiene to protect themselves from contracting or spreading the virus.
