Fourth case of coronavirus announced in Douglas County

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Douglas County Health Department (DCHD) says they've received a fourth presumptive confirmation of another local case of coronavirus.

The individual is a woman in her forties who had traveled to California and Nevada and is recovering at home.

According to the health department, they're conducting a contact investigation to learn if anyone else has been exposed to coronavirus.

The DCHD is evaluating the situation and will determine if any additional action is needed. Their information line is open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 402-444-3400 and is answered in English and Spanish.

The United Way's 2-1-1 information line is also taking calls.
