Kraft Heinz is voluntarily recalling about 7,000 cases of Taco Bell Salsa Con Queso Mild Cheese Dip as a precaution, the company said in a press release Tuesday.
The cheese dip showed signs of separation which can be a potential health hazard. Clostridium botulinum bacteria could grow in the product as a result of separation, which could lead to illness or even death for anyone who consumes it. Consumers shouldn't eat the product even if it doesn't look or smell spoiled, the company said.
The result of eating food containing the bacteria can be botulism, a potentially fatal form of food poisoning. The symptoms of botulism include: general weakness, dizziness, double vision and trouble with speaking or swallowing. Difficulty in breathing, weakness of other muscles, abdominal distension and constipation may also occur.

So far there are no reports of people falling ill as a result of consuming the queso.
