ZAGREB, Croatia -- A private English school has replaced billboards featuring First Lady Melania Trump after her attorney threatened legal action, according to Business Insider.

The advertisements read "Just imagine how far you can go with a little bit of English" alongside a photo of Trump delivering a speech at last year's Republican National Convention.

Trump's lawyer, Natasa Pirc-Musar, demanded the advertisements' removal after they appeared around the Croatian capital last week, Business Insider reports.

A school spokesperson, Ivis Buric, apologized and said Americki Institut had featured Trump because she's the most recognizable emigrant to the United States from the Balkan region. Trump was born in Slovenia as Melanija Knavs before pursuing an international modeling career in her 20s and meeting the future president, Donald Trump.

"We are very sorry that the billboards were misunderstood as something intended to mock the U.S. first lady," Buric said.

A post on Americki Institut's Facebook page Wednesday morning showed the school has instead installed ads reading "Invest in your English and billboards. People love a good billboard" on a blank blue background.
