Daniel Dumile, the masked rapper known as MF Doom, died earlier this year, his family announced on social media on Thursday.
The family waited until Thursday to announced that Dumile died on October 31. A cause of deaths has not been announced.
Dumile released six studio albums and collaborated with the likes of Busta Rhymes, Gorillaz and the Wu-Tang Clan.
