Thieves steal thousands of dollars in cigarettes from Florida convenience store in brazen robbery

RUSKIN, Fla. — Hillsborough County, Florida Sheriff's Office is looking for three men caught on surveillance video hopping over a convenience store counter and stealing thousands of dollars worth of cigarettes.

It happened at the Circle K convenience store in Ruskin, Fla. Tuesday just before 5 a.m.

The men climbed over the store counter, filled trash bags with about 50 cartons of cigarettes, valued at about $7,000 then bolted from the store.

They then left in a gray sedan, possibly a Nissan Altima.

The suspects are described as black males, all between the ages of 18 to 25 years old, 5'8" to 6'0." One suspect was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with a white t-shirt and black beanie hat. Another suspect was wearing a black sweatshirt, black pants, and a green beanie hat. The third suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, gray pants and had facial hair.
