Roadway fatalities up compared to last year and 5-year avg.

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — According to a release from Nebraska's Department of Transportation (NDOT), roadway fatalities for August are up compared to last year and are also up compared to the 2014-2019 average.

According to NDOT, there was a 250% increase of deaths compared to August of 2018 and a 106% increase compared to the 2014-2018 average.
