A winter storm on track for the viewing area is expected to bring significant snowfall and winds, with blowing and drifting.

“The storm potential has winds, blizzard-like conditions, 40 to 50 miles per hour,” said KMTV Meteorologist Matt Monroe.

The KMTV Severe Weather Alert Team continues to monitor the different models for developments on snowfall totals.

“Tuesday, that right now remains the major question mark. We’ll be tracking that storm all weekend long,” Monroe said.
