The National Weather Service issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for western parts of the viewing area, including Adams, Boone, Buffalo, Butler, Clay, Colfax, Cuming, Dodge, Fillmore, Franklin, Gage, Hall, Hamilton, Harlan, Howard, Jefferson, Kearney, Lancaster, Madison, Merrick, Nance, Nuckolls, Phelps, Platte, Polk, Saline, Saunders, Stanton, Thayer, Webster, and York counties until 1:00 a.m.
