The tornado caused more damage outside Nehawka Monday evening.
We found more damage just west of Nehawka, where a large tree blew down across Leroy Road, blocking Josh Cavanaugh's drive home. "I was actually up by Plattsmouth and from hwy 75 we could see a tornado going north. But I wasn't down here when this happened...(butted) Pretty shocked. I couldn't see my house obviously with this in the way. Beat feet to the house to make sure it was still there anyway."
Cavanaugh's home wasn't damaged, and he grabbed a chain saw to help clear the road for drivers trying to pass through.
