What's that smell? The smoke from agricultural fires in the Flint Hills areas of southern Kansas have made its way to the metro.

The Air Quality Index (AQI) in Douglas County is in the "unhealthy" category this morning.

It is important for individuals with lung disease, respiratory disease or a heart condition to monitor the air quality. Parents should monitor conditions for their children. If you are healthy, you're usually not at a major risk from short-term exposures to smoke.

Several local school districts, including Omaha and Millard Public Schools, have announced they will be keeping kids indoors today.

11 Oklahoma counties are under state of emergencies as wildfires continue to burn.
