Creighton baseball battled back after a tough 3-2 loss in 14 innings Friday to win the weekend series over No. 14 St. John's. Sunday's 5-1 win over the Red Storm sealed the series win, improving the Jays' record to 10-16 overall and 2-1 in BIG EAST play.
Creighton starting pitcher Keith Rogalla pitched an impressive complete-game performance Sunday, the second complete game of his career. Rogalla improved to 2-2 on the season after allowing just one run on five hits while striking out eight.
Isaac Collins led the Jays offensively as he went 2-3 at the plate. Five other Jays notched hits in Sunday's game as well.
Up next for the Jays is a non-conference home game against South Dakota State Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
