Creighton baseball takes down KU to keep win streak alive

Creighton baseball took down Kansas 7-3 Wednesday in Lawrence to continue its four-game winning streak. The Jays improved to 5-11 overall this season following the win.

Isaac Collins and Thomas Luevano led Creighton at the plate, each tallying two hits and an RBI in the game against the Jayhawks. Freshman Will Robertson earned two RBIs on one hit in the game as well.

Pitcher Jeff Albrecht picked up the win for Creighton and improved to 2-2 on the season. Albrecht did not allow a run, and allowed just one hit with two strikeouts in two innings pitched. 

Up next for the Bluejays is a series at home against UC Davis. The three-game series between the Jays and UC Davis begins Sunday at 1 p.m.
