St. John's jumped on Creighton early, as the Bluejays fall to the Red Storm, 10-2 Saturday afternoon at TD Ameritrade Park.  With the loss, Creighton was eliminated from the Big EAST tournament and ends its season at 24-25 overall.

The Red Storm got to CU's starting pitcher, Jeff Albrecht, from the very start, scoring six runs in the first two innings.  The Jays looked to have a little life in the bottom of the second inning, when Riley Landuyt crushed a two-run home run in his final game of his Creighton career to make it a 6-2 game.

But that's all the Bluejays could muster, as the Red Storm added a few runs late for the 10-2 victory. St. John's now faces Xavier on Sunday afternoon in the Big EAST tournament final.
