The Creighton baseball team had its nation-leading eleven game winning streak snapped on Friday at home against Xavier, 2-1.
The Jays led for most of the game but allowed the tying run in the 8th & then allowed the game-winning home run in the top of the 9th.
CU falls to 19-17 overall and 8-2 in BIG EAST play.
The two teams will resume the series at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
