Creighton's pitchers Rollie Lacy, Keith Rogalla and David Gerber were selected in the 2017 MLB Draft. Lacy was drafted in the 11th round, 345th overall by the Chicago Cubs while Rogalla was drafted in the 12th round just ten picks after by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Gerber was the third Bluejay to be selected in the MLB Draft in the 29th round by the Seattle Mariners.
