The Creighton men’s basketball team visits Marquette Saturday, March 4 for its final contest of the regular season. Creighton is coming off of a 82-68 win over St. John’s on Tuesday, Feb. 28.

The Bluejays also celebrated Senior Night following Tuesday night’s win at CenturyLink. Creighton has three seniors on the team, Cole Huff, Isaiah Zierden and Zach Hanson.

Creighton’s Marcus Foster leads the BIG EAST in scoring averaging 18.8 points per game. Justin Patton follows averaging 13.1 points per game including 63 dunks this season, he’s also averaging 6.3 rebounds. Bluejay’s Khyri Thomas is a key to Creighton’s offense and defense as he’s averaging 12.1 points per game, ranks second on the team in blocks, assists and rebounding.

Marquette leads the series with Creighton by a 51-32 margin although Creighton has won four of the seven meeting since the schools became BIG EAST rivals.

Marquette recently defeated Xavier 95-84 Wednesday, March 1. Marquette’s Andrew Rowsey lead five Golden Eagles in double-digits with 20 points.
